What was the deal with "Spread" (2009)
Main Post:
Nikki (Ashton Kutcher) plays a manipulative drifter who preys on lonely people in order to leech off of them. Then he meets a woman who does the same thing and they team up to manipulate folks together. But then they fall in love and their lifestyle gets in the way of their feelings, because they're both untrustworthy maniacs who make the selfish choice every time.
So why the hell was the end written and directed in a way where you're supposed to feel bad for these people? Like, I'm happy they both ended up in shitty positions as a result of their shitty behaviour, but that's not how the director wants you to feel. It's so bizarre.
Top Comment: Late to the party, but I was thinking about this movie today. Despite the abysmal reviews, I really liked this movie. It's trying to say something. I think it's sort of a cautionary tale about chasing the wrong things, or maybe just people trying to look for something in the wrong places. They're foolish and they paid for their foolishness. Nikki tried to find financial security by exploiting an older woman's loneliness using his looks, only to find in the end that his best bet is to just do the honest work despite the shitty pay. Samantha fell in love with Nikki even though she's a brilliant lawyer who made a fantastic life for herself, who SHOULD know better but ends up losing her heart anyway. It was depressing to watch her get vaginal rejuvenation to try and keep a younger man who didn't give two shits about her. I think it's a wonderful, cynical, depressing look at shallowness and materialism. There's nothing wrong with chasing these things (money, a hot partner, whatever), but in the end, they can't be the all you focus on (not YOU, just us in general). I agree that Nikki's a terrible, callous, shallow person, but I still felt sorry for him when he suffered for his own stupidity. When he kicked his belongs on the side of the road after becoming homeless, I felt his frustration. Edit to say: sorry, I probably came across as preachy, I don't mean to be! I'm sorry if I am. I think I just really related to Nikki (wanting success, rushing too much, things not working out b/c I was searching for completion through external means rather than doing the internal work needed to fix my issues, if that makes sense)

Help me understanding spread in trading
Main Post:
Hi People, and yes i already know the Spread is the difference between the bid and the ask. I'm not that newbie, what i wanna understand is the chain between spread and trading.
From the first time i always noticed when you open a position, you start already in loss.
Now there come the infos where i have doubts, than CORRECT ME when i'm wrong.
I thought the spread was based on the trading platform, only recently i understood that it comes from brokers.
- Than i searched a broker that gets his gain from FIXED COMMISSIONS instead by making the spread wide. But even with brokers that had accounts rules with 0.00 pips added and only fixed commissions, I still see i lose money for the spread when i open a position. And that's why i thought it was a trading platform stuff.
But now i figured out, and correct if i'm wrong, when i trade with a broker, also if is the SAME stock of any other brokers, i still get the spread of THAT broker. An "universal" spread of the stock doesn't exist.
If the spread is the difference between bid and ask.... this means that IS the bid and ask difference ONLY of the people who use THAT specific broker?
So the money i lose when i start a position is basically spread + commissions or spread + the spread added for broker's gains
I'm correct?
Because if i am correct this means that finding a broker with an HIGH USAGE among people is more important than the broker's rules of gaining ( commissions or by adding spread ) to lose less money at the position opened
Also if this is true it means there isn't a GOOD BROKER "all-round" but i need to use multiple brokers for commotidies, for bonds, for options, etc. Because all of them have better spreads in a single category.

Summary:
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn’t actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
Is it better to put out content daily or spread it?
Main Post:
Howdy everyone, I am new to the gaming content creation, and so far am enjoying it. Been lurking this community since I decided to go full send on getting a cap card and software for editing.
My main question is, is it better to put out 5 videos a week around the 15 minute mark, or add some spacing between the days and make them a little longer?
My content is mostly sports gaming videos, I’ll probably dabble around outside that genre here and there, but most of my main content will be following my franchises and dynasty modes.
The 10-15 minute videos is 1 game, plus some other information from the league, but I did drop a 40 minute video this morning of 4 in game weeks worth of games.
I haven’t decided if I prefer either format over the other, but I do like the chapters being there for the longer video to be able to jump for viewers, so I did learn and use that feature.

Personally, I try to only do one or two videos a week and one or two associated shorts. Taking a few days to script, record, edit, apply finishing touches, and finally post goes a long way toward overall quality, which will generate more views per video.
Also, I see a lot of channels that have met the sub requirements for monetization, but they put out so many videos, some multiple times a day, but their view counts per video are incredibly low.
I would suggest if your videos are 10 to 15 minutes, try to do less uploads per week and focus on making higher quality videos people will want to watch.
